Editorial and Corrections Policy

Our editorial objective is a useful, traceable accessory decision. We explain applications, mounting constraints, ownership trade-offs and missing information without inventing tests or declaring every listing suitable.

Evidence has different strengths

A retailer title establishes what a listing claims. A manufacturer application chart supports a particular part and vehicle configuration. Installation instructions explain the mounting method and restrictions. Hands-on testing would provide another form of evidence, but it is not implied by catalog inclusion. We label the distinction rather than calling all evidence verified fitment.

How products are selected

Model catalogs require identifiable product listings relevant to that model. Unrelated search suggestions and search links are excluded from product counts. A shared listing can appear under more than one model when its title names both; it remains one ASIN in the master catalog. Changing prices and star ratings are not copied as permanent editorial facts.

How comparisons are written

We compare use cases, installation footprint, access, materials, maintenance, total cost and support. A high product count is not evidence that a page is better than a competitor. We do not promise search ranking or universal superiority. Claims about a specific version should be supported by its documentation.

Submitting a correction

Send the page, exact product identifier and evidence explaining the problem. Unsupported fitment claims should be removed or qualified while investigated. A corrected application must remain version-specific. The site operator controls publication and should record the source and date when product information changes.
